On Tuesday, February 11, 2026, Michael Domeisen was bid farewell as Managing Director of the HSG Foundation. He is handing over the reins ad interim to his former deputy Sonja Fehr.
After three successful years as Managing Director of the HSG Foundation, Michael Domeisen is leaving the HSG Foundation to take over the management of the Office of Economy and Tourism in the Canton of Graubünden from March 1, 2026. In recent years, the HSG Foundation has been able to develop substantially in terms of positioning and fundraising and successfully finance new strategic funding initiatives. The Board of Trustees, the Rectorate and the Office team would like to thank Michael Domeisen warmly for his services and wish him every success and pleasure in his new role.
The appointment of his successor is nearing completion. However, the new management team is not expected to start before summer 2026. Until then, Sonja Fehr, who has been with the HSG Foundation for many years and is currently Deputy Managing Director, will take over as Managing Director ad interim. Sonja Fehr has extensive knowledge of the HSG Foundation's tasks and is very well established.
“I am honored to be able to take on this responsible task. I am particularly looking forward to the personal contacts and discussions with you. Thank you very much for your trust and goodwill; only together can we continue to develop the HSG and make unique programs of excellence possible”
